Alleged antisemitic aggression during a pro-Palestinian demonstration in Madrid

A video circulating on social media shows an alleged antisemitic aggression during a pro-Palestinian demonstration that took place in the Puerta del Sol area in Madrid.

The confrontation between two women forced the intervention of Municipal Police officers who were on Arenal Street and were called upon due to a dispute possibly involving aggression.

The officers were summoned due to the shouts heard on that street because of the presence of a person who was confronting and insulting another woman, who sought refuge in a store.

A video circulating on social media shows part of the argument between the two women. According to the claims made in the video, one protester pushed, spat on, and insulted another for being Jewish.

The argument between them reportedly stemmed from a T-shirt worn by one of them, with the date October 7 and an inverted red triangle, which is used as an antifascist symbol. October 7 was the date of the Hamas attacks, marking the beginning of Israel’s military offensive against Gaza.
