Man performs Nazi salutes and shouts antisemitic slogans in front of Munich’s Ohel Jakob synagogue

A man was arrested in front of Munich’s main synagogue on St.-Jakobs-Platz for shouting antisemitic insults and repeatedly making the Nazi salute.

The 60-year-old suspect was initially detained at a police station.

The department responsible for investigating politically motivated crimes related to the far-right is conducting an inquiry into sedition and the use of symbols associated with unconstitutional and terrorist organisations.
