Jewish Community of Lisbon condemns the vandalisation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with pro-Palestinian graffiti

The Jewish Community of Lisbon condemned the vandalisation of the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs with pro-Palestinian graffitis.

“In a democracy, different ideas are discussed with respect, not with vandalism. What’s the next step? Intimidation? That would be unacceptable! The CIL expresses its solidarity with all those who are victims of gratuitous acts of vandalism and violence”

“We regret that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building has been the target of vandalism and appeal for these acts of destruction of public property, to convey messages of hatred and intolerance” said the Jewish Community of Lisbon in a statement.
