Hundreds gathered in Zurich for a rally against antisemitism

After the brutal attack on a Jewish community member, hundreds of people gathered in Zurich on for a vigil against antisemitism.

The rally was organised by the “NAIN Switzerland” campaign (NAIN: Never again is now), which has been publicly campaigning against anti-Semitism since the attacks in Israel in October 2023.

Many participants followed the organisers’ call and brought yellow umbrellas as a symbolic symbol against antisemitism. Others held up signs with the words “Together against antisemitism” and “No violence against Jews.”

SIG President Ralph Lewin took part in the rally. “This is not a day like any other,” he says of the crime. “The fact that someone is attacked so badly in the middle of the city of Zurich is very shocking for all of us.”
