Three Jewish students were attacked by pro-Palestinian protesters in the ULB campus in Brussels, including the president of the Jewish students of Belgium, Gad Des Hayes. He was beaten and insulted.
For the Comité de coordination des organisations juives de Belgique (CCOJB), this occupation of the campus has no other purpose than to bring out its hatred of the only Jewish state in the world, Israel.
The CCOJB calls for an immediate and firm reaction from both academic and political authorities to put an end to this unbearable situation and to protect all students on university campuses.
Around fifty students have occupied a building on the ULB Solbosch campus.
