EJC welcomes European Parliament resolution calling for extended sanctions against Iran

“The centrality of Iran in the destabilisation of the whole of the Middle East is evident to all and we welcome the Parliament’s resolution noting this fact. The time has come for total exclusion of the Islamic Republic from the international arena and targeted sanctions” said EJC President Dr Ariel Muzicant.

EJC Affirms Its Support To Prime Minister Sharon During Paris Meeting

The European Jewish Congress (EJC) affirmed its support to Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and his Gaza disengagement plan, at a meeting in Paris on July 28th during his decisive official visit to France.

EJC Executive Vice-President participates in Hungarian Holocaust Memorial Day event

EJC Executive Vice-President Raya Kalenova took part in a commemorative event ahead of the Memorial Day of the Hungarian Victims of the Holocaust, hosted by H.E. Mr. Tamás Iván Kovács, Ambassador of Hungary to Belgium and Luxembourg.

EJC delegation held high-level meetings in Israel to express their solidarity and support with the Jewish state

Austrian delegation traveled to Israel and met with Israeli President, members of the Knesset and hostage families
