EJC President Dr Ariel Muzicant participated in a panel discussion at the 3rd European Conference on Antisemitism at the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna, focusing on the increasing antisemitism in universities and social media.
The panel included United States Special Envoy for Monitoring and Combating Antisemitism Deborah Lipstadt, European Commission Coordinator on Combating Antisemitism and Fostering Jewish Life Katharina von Schnurbein, President Emeritus of the Hudson Institute Ken Weinstein, AJC Chief Policy and Political Affairs Officer Jason Isaacson and Edel Malowicki of the Austrian Integration Fund.
Austrian Federal Minister for the EU and the Constitution at the Federal Chancellery Karoline Edtstadler gave the opening remarks at the conference, followed by a keynote speech by Director of the EU Fundamental Rights Agency Sirpa Rautio.
