Conference of the German-speaking regional parliaments adopt resolution on combating antisemitism and fostering Jewish life

The Conference of the German-speaking regional parliaments have recently adopted its resolution on combating antisemitism and fostering Jewish life in Europe.

German-speaking Parliament Presidents welcome and support the first EU Strategy strategy of the European Commission to combat antisemitism and to promote Jewish Life.

In order to implement the strategy and its initiatives, the regional parliaments as mediators of European policy in the multi-level system of the EU, committed themselves to make concrete contributions to the implementation of the strategy.

In the resolution, Presidents acknowledged that Jewish life and Jewish culture are an integral part of European culture and that Jewish life must be protected and promoted in dialogue with civil society in all regions of the EU.
