A man has been charged in connection with the terror attack at the Heaton Park synagogue in Manchester last year.
Hekmat Omar Ali Hakim, 49, of St James Road, Higher Broughton, is accused of failing to disclose information about terrorist activity.
Two people were killed in the 2 October attack.
Jihad al Shamie, 35, a Syrian-born British citizen, drove into the gates of the synagogue, hitting a security guard, before attacking worshipper Melvin Cravitz with a knife.
Mr Cravitz was killed, as was Adrian Daulby – hit by a single police bullet as he held the doors closed to stop the terrorist getting inside.
Al Shamie, who was wearing a fake suicide vest, was shot dead as he charged at officers with the knife.
Police said today that Hakim, an Iraqi national, had been remanded to appear before Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
