Jewish schoolboy allegedly punched outside Stamford Hill school in antisemitic attack

A female suspect approached a 15-year-old boy and allegedly assaulted him while shouting antisemitic abuse.

Volunteers from the Jewish neighbourhood watch organisation Shomrim responded to the scene shortly after the incident was reported and alerted officers from the Metropolitan Police Service.

In a public appeal shared online, Shomrim said: “A female suspect punched a visibly Jewish schoolboy whilst shouting antisemitic abuse.”

The organisation confirmed that the woman was later arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated assault.

The alleged assault took place just hours after another reported antisemitic incident in nearby Clapton Common, where a man was arrested after allegedly attacking visibly Orthodox Jewish women with a belt at a bus stop.
