Tunisian MP performs quenelle in Parliament

A Tunisian MP performed the quenelle reversed Nazi salute popularized by French anti-Semitic comedian Dieudonné M’Bala M’Bala in the country’s parliament last week.

The gesture, performed by MP Rabii Abdi, was strongly condemned by the Tunisian Association for the Support of Minorities (ATSM).

The group said the quenelle was “an insulting gesture towards the Tunisian people and particularly to our Jewish compatriots.”
