Tunisia welcomes Israelis, but not as Israelis

Following the recent prevention of Israeli tourists disembarking from a Norwegian cruise liner in Tunisia, the country’s tourism minister Amel Karboul has said that Israelis are welcome to visit the country.

They would though either need a non-Israeli passport or a special laissez-passer to enter since Tunisia still does not recognise the Jewish State.
