Hundreds marched in The Hague displaying images of the Israeli hostages outside the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
The demonstration also featured a long table set for a traditional Shabbat diner.
The table has one seat for every hostage still held in Gaza as a reminder of their absence.
Based in Brussels, the European Jewish Congress is the representative umbrella organisation of national Jewish communities. It federates democratically elected national Jewish community organisations in over 40 European countries uniting 2.5 million Jews across the continent.
