The statue of Jewish Holocaust victim Anne Frank was vandalised with red paint saying ‘Gaza’.
Amsterdam councillor Stijn Nijssen said that it was shameful to draw attention to the Palestinian cause by defacing the Holocaust memorial in the Rivierenbuurt neighbourhood park.
