Pro-Palestinian protest in Umeå features skeletons wearing concentration camp uniforms

A pro-Palestinian protest in Sweden featured hanging skeletons wearing concentration camp uniforms under the banner “a genocide is a genocide,” according to social media footage seen.

In the picture, the skeletons are hanged execution-style, with blue-and-white striped uniforms with Stars of David and prisoner numbers on them.

A person wearing a keffiyeh and holding a baby doll can also be seen in the lower frame of the picture.

The installation was erected in Umeå, in northern Sweden.

KAN News reported that Umea for Palestine originally distributed pictures of a protest that included images of the installation. The organization later deleted the post, but screenshots of the event have gone viral on Swedish social media.
