The Federation of Jewish Communities of Spain (FCJE) made a statement expressing their solidarity with the victims and those affected by the flooding disaster.

Spain is enduring its worst flooding disaster in decades with at least 95 people dead and dozens more missing after huge rains swept through the country.

“The FCJE extends its heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of the disaster caused on Tuesday, October 29, by the storm that has severely impacted the Valencian Community and Castilla-La Mancha.

It also stands in solidarity with those who have lost their homes and livelihoods.

We extend our solidarity to all Valencians and express our gratitude to the state security forces and personnel involved in the rescue and relief efforts for their exemplary work.

All our support to the Valencian government in these challenging and difficult times.”
