Ljubljana Jewish centre vandalised with antisemitic tags

The Jewish Community Centre and Theater in Ljubljana, Slovenia is the latest building across the world to be defaced with antisemitic signs.

The building also hosts the local synagogue and the Museum of the History of the Holocaust in Slovenia, where an exhibit about Anne Frank’s family is on display.

“We could not imagine, even in our nightmares, that we would ever see a freshly painted swastika in one of the most peaceful cities in Europe. Especially in such a context. Especially in a place like this,” said  Robert Waltl, President of the Slovenian Jewish community. “Never again happens today, we just got very significant proof of this.”
