Marian Koteba, the far-right, governor of the Slovakian region of Banska Bystrica, was defeated in regional elections held across the country on Sunday.
Kotleba leads the far-right People’s Party – Our Slovakia (ĽSNS). He, and the party, have a propensity for extreme racism and the wearing of neo-Nazi uniforms.
