Far-right MEP who disrupted minute of silence during IHRD sanctioned

Far-right Polish Member of the European Parliament Grzegorz Braun, who disrupted a minute of silence during a special plenary session to remember Holocaust victims, will lose his subsistence allowance for 30 days.

He will also be sidelined from parliamentary activities for a month and prohibited from attending next year’s Holocaust memorial.

He was punished for his behavior during the “Solemn Ceremony on the Occasion of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day” on January 29 this year. During a minute of silence dedicated to the victims of the Holocaust, the politician interrupted the ceremony.
