Olive tree planted in Casablanca as symbol of fraternity between Muslims and Jews

Muslim and Jewish civil society representatives in Casablanca, planted an olive tree as a symbol of fraternity and peace between members of the two monotheistic religions.

Through this symbolic action, which took place in the garden of the Stade Olympique Casablancais (SOC) Simon Pinto, the club and question together with the Association of Pluralistic Moroccans celebrated the re-establishment of full ties between the State of Israel and the Kingdom of Morocco, as well as the decision by the United States to recognise the full sovereignty of Morocco over the Western Sahara.
