Latvia regards Hezbollah as a terrorist organization.
This was confirmed by the Director General of the Bilateral Relations Directorate of the Foreign Ministry of Latvia, Ambassador Ilgvars Kļava, with the US State Department’s Coordinator for Counterterrorism, Ambassador Nathan A. Sales.
During the phone conversation, Ambassador Kļava reiterated that Latvia highly appreciates the opportunity to cooperate with the U.S. in reducing terrorist threats and combatting international terrorism.
