The Italian State Police have executed a precautionary order issued by the Preliminary Investigations Judge (GIP) at the Juvenile Court of Milan against a 17-year-old Italian national of Turkish origin, residing in the Como area.
The teenager is under investigation for being the promoter of a group dedicated to the dissemination of racial hatred and Holocaust denial.
As part of the precautionary measures, the minor — who has no prior criminal record — has been banned from using any internet-enabled devices for a period of two months.
Simultaneously, police carried out two house searches targeting two other minors: one residing in Friuli Venezia Giulia, identified as an active member of the group, and another from the Como area, suspected of weapons possession.
The investigation, coordinated by the Milan Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office and conducted by the DIGOS units of Milan and Como, with the support of the Central Directorate for Prevention Police, stemmed from online monitoring of far-right extremist environments.
According to the authorities, the 17-year-old allegedly created and managed a network of fascist- and Nazi-inspired social media groups and channels used to spread xenophobic, homophobic, and antisemitic messages, while also recruiting young followers.
The group, which also included adults already subject to judicial measures, sought to incite violence and establish an “anti-system” movement, with plans reportedly extending to raising funds for the acquisition of weapons.
