Italian Government allocates nearly 61 million euros for the victims of the Third Reich

Italy has taken a significant step by assuming responsibility for paying reparations to the Italian victims of the Third Reich.

This will be achieved through the establishment of a special fund. The Ministry of the Economy, in collaboration with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Justice, has allocated the necessary resources for this purpose. These allocations have been made official through an official decree.

The Italian government has allocated an sum of almost 61 million euros to address the needs of victims affected by the Third Reich.

The allocated funding extends until 2026, with a specific breakdown for each year. A substantial amount of 20 million euros has been designated for 2023. Furthermore, for each of the years from 2024 to 2026, an amount of 13,655,467 euros has been allocated. This ensures a consistent effort to provide compensation to the victims of the Nazi atrocities in Italy.
