The president of Mazsihisz Dr Andor Grós took part in the solidarity event held by the Embassy of Israel in Budapest, Erzsébetváros municipality and the World Jewish Congress at the Carl Lutz memorial in Dob utca.
About 150 people expressed their support for Israel at the event, and many lit candles for the speedy release of the held hostages.
At the event, the flag of Israel and the inscription #BRINGTHEMHOME were projected onto the wall behind the memorial.
