Zentralrat warns against antisemitism as result of the energy crisis

The Central Council of Jews in Germany (Zentralrat) warns of a flare-up of antisemitism as a result of the looming energy crisis.

Corona deniers and self-proclaimed lateral thinkers “currently have no platform worth mentioning” in connection with the pandemic, said Zentralrat President Josef Schuster. “But instead there is the Ukraine war and, what worries me even more, the energy crisis.”

“When it gets cold in winter, there will be an impact,” Schuster said. “When there are problems, minorities are blamed”.
