Antisemitic and racist graffiti found on town building in the Bas-Rhin

Antisemitic and racist graffiti were found, in the village hall of Scharrachbergheim-Irmstett, near Molsheim in the Bas-Rhin.

“Afgans de merde” (“Shitty Afghans”), “Gloire au fuhrer” (“Glory to the fuhrer”), “Anti migrant” or “Juden raus” (“Jews out” in German): were written on a town building.

“We always think we are spared in small towns”, deplores Sylvie Tholé, the mayor of the village, “but this is no longer the case.” In 2019, a first antisemitic graffiti had been found on this same village hall. “But it was not on the same scale” explains Sylvie Tholé. The elected representative will fill a complaint.
