The door of a Jewish student at the College of Europe in Bruges was tagged with swastikas and other graffiti likening Judaism or Israel to Nazism.
Rector Federica Mogherini wrote an email to all students announcing an investigation. “Promoting hate is not and will never be tolerated within our walls,” Mogherini said.
Based in Brussels, the European Jewish Congress is the representative umbrella organisation of national Jewish communities. It federates democratically elected national Jewish community organisations in over 40 European countries uniting 2.5 million Jews across the continent.
