Activist of far-left party posts antisemitic image of Belgian PM

An activist of the Belgian far-left party PTB-PVDA published an image of Belgian PM with antisemitic connotations.

The image in question, which was shared on social media compared Belgian PM Charles Michel to the figure of ‘Rabbi Jacob’. The Belgian League against antisemitism (LBCA) issued a protest.

According to Yves Malisse, the author of the image, this was only meant to be humour’. Joël Rubinfeld, president of LBCA, answered: “Is this humour? Dieudonné also said that.”

Mr. Malisse is responsible for PTB’s Facebook page for the Walloon City of Mouscron. The image was posted on his private account and shared 4000 times.
