Unique online commemoration project launched in Belarus

A new online living history project presenting testimonies of survivors of the Holocaust has been launched in Belarus, as result of a joint Belarusian-German collaboration.

Developed by the Geschichtswerkstatt Leonid Lewin in Minsk, a series of videos presents 7 testimonies of survivors of concentration camps and ghettoes, as well as righteous among the nations.

75 years after the end of World War II, it is essential to preserve the memory of the Holocaust for future generations. It’s important that the memory remains at all times. In addition testimonies, the project also shares the film “Ozaricрi” by German documentary filmmakers translated into the Belarusian language and accompanied by Russian subtitles.
