Jewish communal building in Gomel vandalised with antisemitic graffiti

Antisemitic graffiti was spray-painted on the building of a Jewish community center on Krasnoarmeyskaya Street in Gomel (Homyel), the second most populous city in Belarus.

According to the Union of Belarusian Jewish Public Associations and Communities, the country’s EJC affiliate, in the back of the building, unidentified persons painted a swastika about a meter tall, as wells as two SS emblems.

The building in question houses a synagogue and other communal institutions.
