According to the IKG, antisemitic incidents have increased fivefold since the Hamas massacre

The Antisemitism Reporting Center of the Jewish Community of Vienna (IKG) registered 1,147 antisemitic incidents in 2023.

This corresponds to an increase of 59.5% compared to the previous year (719 incidents). 

By October 6th, the average number of reports per day fell to 1.55 compared to 2022 (1.97). For the period from October 7th to December 31st, there was a fivefold increase to 8.31 antisemitic incidents per day.
