SACC by EJC and FCER celebrate Purim with children who fled Ukraine

SACC by EJC Head of Crisis Management Danny Choueka visited the Federation of Jewish Communities in Romania (FCER) in Bucharest to celebrate Purim with refugees from Ukraine who have been welcomed into the community.

Purim presents and costumes were distributed at the Choral Temple in Bucharest as well as in a hotel where refugees are being hosted, celebrating the deliverance of the Jewish people and aiming to bring happiness and joy through these difficult times.

The EJC, together with its communal crisis management arm, SACC by EJC and all its affiliated communities, including the FCER in Romania have mobilised to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, and will continue to do so for as long as it is necessary.
