EJC Executive VP meets with Hungarian Minister for European Affairs

European Jewish Congress Executive Vice-President Raya Kalenova held a productive meeting with Hungarian Minister for European Affairs Bóka János in Brussels, where they discussed areas of cooperation in light of the Hungarian presidency of the Council of the EU and agreed on the development of joint initiatives in the coming months to strengthen the security of Jewish communities amid rising antisemitism.

EJC Vice-President Raya Kalenova highlighted, “Hungary’s assumption of the presidency of the Council of the EU is an opportunity to write a new chapter in fostering Jewish life in these particularly challenging times.”
