EJC President visits Scandinavian and Baltic Jewish communities

European Jewish Congress President Dr Ariel Muzicant visited the organisation’s affiliated communities in Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Denmark. The visit aimed to strengthen ties, address local challenges, and discuss future initiatives to support Jewish life in these regions.

During his visit, Dr Muzicant met with community leaders and members to better understand the unique needs and concerns in each country. His discussions focused on issues such as combating antisemitism, preserving Jewish heritage, and enhancing educational and cultural programmes. He emphasised the importance of solidarity and cooperation among Jewish communities across Europe during these challenging times.
