EJC President meets British Jewish community, joins the Veteran March in London

On the occasion of his visit to the British Jewish Community, EJC President Moshe Kantor joined the Association of Jewish Ex-Servicemen and Women for their 73rd Annual Remembrance Ceremony and Parade. President Kantor met with the leadership of AJEX and commended them on their courage and the important work they were doing in honouring the memory of the Jewish soldiers who fought with the British Services during World Wars I and II.

Mr. Kantor visited the United Kingdom in order to meet with the leadership of the Board of Deputies of British Jews. Mr. Kantor stressed the importance of the BOD to the work of EJC and saluted the great work of former EJC Presidents, Israel Finestein, Jo Wagerman and Lionel Koplewicz . Kantor paid homage to the current leaders of the British community, Lord Janner of Braunstone QC, Vice President of the World Jewish Congress, Hentry Grunwald QC, President of the BOD and EJC Vice President and Flo Kaufmann, Vice President of the BOD and Chairman of the EJC Board of Governors.
