European Jewish Congress Executive Vice-President Raya Kalenova hosted a dinner in honour of H.E. Ambassador Haim Regev, Head of Mission of the State of Israel to the European Union and NATO, as he concludes his service in Brussels.
Permanent Representatives and Heads of Mission to the European Union, bilateral ambassadors, Members of the European Parliament, high-level European Commission officials, diplomats, leaders of the Belgian Jewish community, and members of Jewish organisations based in Brussels gathered to show appreciation for Ambassador Regev’s work and to strengthen their bonds of friendship and cooperation.
EJC Executive Vice-President Raya Kalenova expressed her warmest wishes to Ambassador Regev, acknowledging the excellent partnership between the European Jewish Congress and the Israeli Mission to the European Union during these challenging times. She highlighted Ambassador Regev’s steadfast dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to strengthening ties between the State of Israel and European institutions, which have been key in advancing mutual understanding, collaboration, and friendship.
The evening featured heartfelt tributes, as attendees expressed their deep gratitude for Ambassador Regev’s remarkable service and personal warmth, honouring his invaluable contributions and wishing him continued success in his future endeavours.
