European Jewish Congress Vice-President Raya Kalenova hosted a dinner in honour of the upcoming Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Permanent representatives to the European Union, bilateral ambassadors, European Commission officials, diplomats, Belgian Jewish community leaders, and members of Jewish organisations based in Brussels gathered to mark this special occasion and strengthen their bonds of friendship and cooperation.
EJC Vice-President Raya Kalenova expressed her best wishes for the success of the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. She acknowledged the long-term collaboration between the EJC and Hungary in combating antisemitism and fostering Jewish life, commending the country’s longstanding commitment, solidarity, and support for the Jewish community in the country and Europe, especially during the ongoing difficult times.
Among the distinguished guests were twelve ambassadors alongside diplomatic representatives and officials.
