EJC hosts delegation of young Jewish activists

The European Jewish Congress (EJC) hosted a delegation of young Jewish activists as part of the 2022 EU Activism Seminar organised by the European Union of Jewish Students (EUJS).

During the meeting, EJC Director of European Affairs Ariella Woitchik, and Policy Director Johanan Seynave described the advocacy efforts of the EJC raising awareness about the problem of antisemitism, which culminated in the adoption of the EU Strategy on combating Antisemitism and fostering Jewish life.

Other topics included the safeguarding Jewish life and traditions around Europe, the partnerships with the European Parliament Working Group Against Antisemitism (WGAS).

The EU Activism seminar is a flagship initiative of the European Union of Jewish Students to introduce young Jewish activists to the EU institutions and the advocacy efforts of Jewish civil society organisations.

This was the was the seventh that the EUJS delegation visited the EJC, signaling the strong partnership, friendship and commitment of both organisations in the service of European Jewry.
