EJC attends 3rd Working Group on the implementation of the EU strategy on combating antisemitism in The Hague

The European Jewish Congress took part in the third meeting of the European Commission working group on the implementation of the EU strategy on combating antisemitism and fostering Jewish life, held in The Hague.

This meeting was organised by the Dutch National Coordinator on Combating Antisemitism and hosted by the Netherlands Ministry of Justice and Security.

Among issues discussed at the Working Group were the state of play of the development of national strategies and national plans on combating antisemitism, the need to combat online antisemitism and the tools needed to foster Jewish life in Europe.

Policy Officer Dylan Bokler represented the EJC at the meeting which brought together representatives of national Jewish communities, international and civil society organisations, national ministries and high-level officers of the European Institutions.

Among the speakers were Vice-President of the European Commission Margaritis Schinas, European Commission Coordinator on Combating Antisemitism and Fostering Jewish Life Katherina von Schnurbein and Dutch Minister of Justice and Security Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius.
