Two jailed over plot to attack Jewish community in Manchester

Two men who plotted an Isis-inspired gun attack targeting the Jewish community in Manchester have been jailed for life, in what police said could have been “the UK’s most deadly terror attack.”

CST recorded 3,700 antisemitic incidents in the UK in 2025

CST recorded an average of 308 antisemitic incidents per month in 2025, double the 154 monthly incidents reported in the year before.

EJC President Dr Moshe Kantor said: “The ongoing discussions within the Trump administration to grant asylum to Jews from the UK, in response to the alarming rise of antisemitism, should be treated as a wake-up call, not dismissed."

Number of schools in the United Kingdom marking Holocaust has halved since October 7

Since the terrorist attacks by Hamas, the number of participating schools fell to fewer than 1,200 in 2024 and 854 in 2025, a reduction of nearly 60 per cent.
