Holocaust memorial inaugurated in Kiskőrös

Between 1849-1944, the approximately 250-year-old Jewish community in Kiskőrös accounted for 4-5% of the town's population. 422 Jews were murdered during the Holocaust. 

Hungarian Colonel who saved Jews during WWII commemorated

The 125th birth anniversary of Colonel Imre Reviczky, who saved the lives of thousands of Jewish soldiers during WWII, was marked in a commemoration held in Budapest's Fiumei Street Cemetery.

On the 78th anniversary of the deportation of Szombathely's Jews, the Hungarian Jewish Community remembered the Jewish citizens who were deported from the city in July 1944 and perished in Nazi extermination camps. 

Hungarian Jews commemorate deportation of Sopron Jews to Auschwitz

The 2.000 Sopron Jews that were deported and murdred in concetration and extermination camps during the Shoah were commemorated in the Sopron Jewish Cemetery.
