Ambassadors, Members of the European Parliament and national parliaments, European Commission lawmakers, diplomatic officials, and representatives of international organisations and Belgian Jewish community leaders gathered to mark this special occasion and strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation.

Hours before a devastating earthquake struck Morocco, EJC Executive VP Raya Kalenova met with the President of the Jewish community Serge Berdugo and other members of the community in the city of Marrakech.

The European Jewish Congress co-hosted with the American Jewish Committee (AJC) preparatory talks between lawmakers, Jewish leaders, tech experts, and social media companies ahead of the second Summit of the Inter-Parliamentary Task Force to Combat Online Antisemitism in Brussels.   

The European Jewish Congress together with SACC by EJC organised an international conference named “Security Challenges in Europe: A comprehensive approach” in cooperation with Brussels Capital IXL Police, CCOJB, and the SASCE Project at the Brussels Town Hall.

An EJC delegation consisting of President Dr. Ariel Muzicant, Executive Vice-President & CEO Raya Kalenova, and Presidents of European Jewish Communities held a series of bilateral meetings in Israel with high-level politicians and Israeli organisations.

The event aimed to raise awareness about the power of education to counter antisemitism and all forms of intolerance and discrimination, and to provide information to members of the European Parliament and other European and international stakeholders about UNESCO activities to address and prevent antisemitism through education.
